Some things that I have found help me in those moments: Take a couple deep breaths. Don't fight the feelings. Let them come, let them be, let them pass. Drink some very cold water. Engage my other senses. Light some incense. Eat a snack. Put my hands in cold running water. All the while, I remind myself that this feeling is temporary. This feeling is not forever, I am not stuck in it, I am not trapped and it will pass. #emotionalbirds
